Overview

FinanceLab is a personal finance modelling tool. The interactive demo stores any data you enter locally in your browser — nothing is transmitted to any server.

Data we do not collect

• Financial figures, projections, or assumptions you enter
• Account balances or personal financial details
• Any data entered in the interactive demo

The demo and modelling tool run entirely in your browser. Your financial data is never transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to collect usage data — such as which features are used and where errors occur. This helps us improve functionality, performance, and fix bugs. No financial data or model inputs are ever included in these events.

If you save your demo, usage events may be associated with your email address so we can provide a consistent experience across sessions. Anonymous users are tracked by a random identifier only.

Pre-order

If you place a pre-order, your payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect your name, email address, and payment details in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your email address so we can send you early access and product updates.

If you are one of the first 100 pre-order customers and choose to claim your free t-shirt, you will need to provide a postal address directly to us via email. That address will be used solely for fulfilment and will not be shared with any third party.

Future features

If we introduce optional features that require data to be processed server-side — such as AI-powered insights or bank account linking — this policy will be updated before those features launch, and they will always be opt-in.
