Overview

FinanceLab is a personal finance modelling tool. The interactive demo stores any data you enter locally in your browser — nothing is transmitted to any server.

Data we do not collect

• Financial figures, projections, or assumptions you enter
• Account balances or personal financial details
• Any data entered in the interactive demo

The demo and modelling tool run entirely in your browser. Your financial data is never transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to collect usage data — such as which features are used and where errors occur. This helps us improve functionality, performance, and fix bugs. No financial data or model inputs are ever included in these events.

If you save your demo, usage events may be associated with your email address so we can provide a consistent experience across sessions. Anonymous users are tracked by a random identifier only.

Waitlist and early access

If you join the early access waitlist, we store the email address you give us with Resend, our email provider. We use it only to tell you when early access opens and to send occasional product updates.

We never sell or share your email address. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you.

Future features

If we introduce optional features that require data to be processed server-side — such as AI-powered insights or bank account linking — this policy will be updated before those features launch, and they will always be opt-in.
